There are moments in life when things become difficult.

Sometimes, this is triggered by a specific event - loss, illness, career or relationship difficulties, or other significant life changes. At other times, everything may seem fine on the outside, yet internally we lose our sense of calm, clarity, or connection with who we truly are.

At such times, talking to a professional can provide a safe space to pause, gather your thoughts, better understand yourself and your experiences, and explore questions that may not have simple answers.

We may not always be able to change our circumstances, but we can change how we experience them, understand them, and live with them.

Life situations in which I can support you.

I work with adults who want to better understand themselves and face life’s difficulties with greater courage. People most often come to me when experiencing:

  • anxiety, stress, or emotional exhaustion;
  • difficulties in relationships with a partner, family members, or themselves;
  • low self-esteem, perfectionism, or feelings of impostor syndrome;
  • loss, grief, or divorce;
  • illness or other difficult life experiences;
  • life crises and significant transitions;
  • difficulty making decisions or understanding what they truly want;
  • a desire to find greater clarity, meaning, and authenticity in their lives.

Working Together

Our work begins with a conversation.

During our first sessions, we explore your situation, try to understand what matters most to you right now, and together find the most suitable direction for our work.

Everyone’s path is different, so the process is not predetermined. We move at a pace that feels right for you at that particular time.

I believe there is no single right answer to how we should live. In my view, the relationships we build with ourselves and others play an important role. I also believe that every person is worthy and is capable of making their own choices.

What matters most to me is creating a space where you can be yourself, feel truly heard, and explore the questions in life that are meaningful to you.

Ways of Working Together

Depending on your situation and needs, I may draw on different professional approaches in our work - psychological consultations, principles of existential therapy, or coaching methods.

Together, we will consider which approach is most suitable for you at a given time. You don’t need to know in advance which one to choose.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often do sessions take place?

We agree on the frequency of sessions individually, taking into account your situation, needs, and the goals of our work together. Most often, sessions take place once a week.

How many sessions will I need?

It is not possible to determine this in advance. Sometimes, a few sessions may be enough to explore a specific life situation, while deeper work may require more time. During our first sessions, we can discuss what format and duration might be most suitable for you at this point.

What happens during the first session?

During our first session, we will get to know each other and talk about what is currently on your mind and what you hope to gain from our work together. It is also an opportunity for you to see whether you feel comfortable enough with me to continue working together.

What if I don’t know what to talk about?

You don’t need to prepare in advance or have a clearly defined problem. We can simply start with how you are feeling right now and what brought you to the session. From there, we can explore together what might be important to focus on

Are the sessions confidential?

Yes. In accordance with the Code of Ethics for Psychologists and the Latvian Psychologists Law, everything we discuss during sessions is confidential, and information about you will not be disclosed to others, except in situations where a client poses a threat to their own or another person’s life or health. At the beginning of our work together, we will discuss confidentiality as well as any other practical or professional questions you may have about the process.
